Admissions to New Pasture Lane Primary School are all processed through the Local Authority Admissions team.
The Admissions Team can be contacted on 01482 392100.
The Local Authority should contact you in the school year before your child is due to start school. If you have not been contacted please contact them on 01482 392100.
The admissions limit for the school is determined by government legislation and Local Authority guidance; for our school at present we have a limit of 30 children per year group. The governing body does not use any form of selection for admission to the school. However, the Local Authority uses the following criteria in the event of over-subscription.
- Children who are looked after by the Local Authority.
- Children with families residing in the local catchment up to a limit of 30.
- Siblings of children in attendance at the school, (living outside traditional catchment area) if places are available up to a limit of 30.
- Children outside the local vicinity (traditional catchment area) who live closest to the school if places are available up to a limit of 30.
Parents who children are refused a place at New Pasture Lane Primary School for any reason are able to appeal against the decision by contacting the Local Authority.
