PE
Curriculum Lead - Mrs Bowling
At New Pasture Lane School, PE is taught twice weekly and each unit of PE is taught termly for KS1 and half termly for KS2 in blocks during each school term.
The units of work are sequenced to provide progression and this allows the children to learn new skills and to consolidate their learning throughout the year groups.
The KS1 children are assessed every term at the end of each PE unit. The KS2 children are assessed every half-term at the end of each PE unit.
At New Pasture Lane School, we are committed to providing access to a wide and varied range of PE and Sporting opportunities during PE lessons, at our school sports clubs and at inter school competitions and festivals.
We are very pleased that our school has retained the Your School Games PLATINUM Award this year.
